BIOLOGY CLUB AT NCSU

Alright everybody, it's meetin' time!

Come to Thomas Hall Room 3503 tonight (Monday, March 31st) at 6pm!!!

Two former Wolfpackers  (Kristen Castro and Laurie McRainey) will be coming to talk to us about their experiences applying for and getting in to Campbell University's pharmacy school.

This will be a great opportunity to ask any questions about the process to apply to pharmacy school, or any other graduate school or vet school.

Come on out!!!

What? This week, we will be bringing in an internship panel to talk with us about the many opportunities available through NC State!

Why? Because it is going to be awesome! And, as always, there will be snacks provided!

Our guest speaker this week will be Dr. Herminia Ferreras.

She will be talking about Pediatric Neurology!

This is an extremely cool subject, so if you're interested in brains, kids, and free food, come out to this meeting!

Tomorrow night (Monday, January 27th) is our second meeting for Biology Club this semester

The meeting will be at 6pm in Thomas Hall Room 3503

Our speaker, Dr. Moorman will be talking to us about urban forestry and its importance.

BIOLOGY CLUB AT NCSU

Come out to the first meeting of the new semester!

Where: THOMAS HALL room 3503 (Stevens Room)

**NEW LOCATION**

When: January 13th at 6 pm

**NEW TIME**

What: We'll be watching a movie (popcorn provided!), as well as discussing the plans for Biology Club this year!

If you were not able to attend the first meeting, we spoke about attending BugFest this upcoming Saturday, September 21 at the Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. There will be exhibits, crafts, games, and activities. Entomologists and other scientists will be there to display their work on bugs. We will be providing rides. If you are interested in going, please email me as soon as possible. We will spend about 2 hours there in the morning, so it would not take up much of your day. It will be a fun event to come check out. Please let me know as soon as possible. I plan to send a separate email out by tonight to those who are going for sure will details of when and where to meet.

Club Meeting September 9, 2013

Hey Everyone,

I hope your semester is off to a great start. Biology Club is having its first meeting of the semester this Monday, September 9. Our speaker for this meeting is Dr. Jennifer Landin. She is a professor at NC State who teaches 'Biology in the Modern World' and the popular 'Biological Illustration' class on campus. She will be talking to us about her courses and science education. 

At the beginning of our meeting, the officers will talk a little bit about the club and what we are planning to do this semester. Usually our meetings begin at 5:30 pm and last for an hour, but for this first meeting, we will start the meeting at 5:15 pm. The meeting will be held in 102 David Clark Labs.
